ABOUT GRADUATE TRADER
graduate TRADER in a nutshell
graduate TRADER is a FREE resource to help graduates pass the required maths and sequencing quizzes to become a trader.
At present, there are 50 different maths quizzes and 30 different sequence quizzes. We are currently writing some premium online trading courses to give you a better insight into trading and help you to secure your desired Graduate Trainee Trader role!
Quizzes on this site are very similar but not exact to those used by trading companies. It would be best if you practised these quizzes daily as trading companies will typically only allow you to apply once for their Graduate Trainee Trader vacancy.
We are currently in beta mode and would love to hear any constructive criticism – hello@graduatetrader.com
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
There’s no such thing as a silly question
I want to be a Graduate Trader, where do I start?
You have come to the right place.
Start at Maths Quiz 1 and work your way through all 50 quizzes. After each quiz look at the questions that you got wrong, find out why you got them wrong and learn for next time. You should be scoring at least 80% in each quiz.
Next, you should work through the Sequencing Quizzes and Brain Teasers to give you an edge over other candidates.
If you consistently get a mathematical operation wrong, refer to some of the recommended reading to practice that specific area of mathematics.
We are in the process of writing a premium online course on Options and Futures. This will give you a great insight into the trading world and show prospective employers your enthusiasm for learning about trading.
May I use a calculator for the trader tests?
In short, No. You will not be allowed to use a calculator when sitting these quizzes in your graduate trainee trader assessment centres, so you must be able to work quickly and accurately without one.
What is the best way to tackle these maths quizzes?
Work in a quiet area where you won’t be disturbed. Put your phone into aeroplane mode. Only have a pen and piece of paper for workings out.
We recommend taking these tests on a laptop rather than a phone or tablet.
