The second round of testing in trading interviews will often include sequences.
Sequence quizzes are used to asses your ability to logically reason with numbers.
In each question, you will see five numbers forming a sequence and you must provide the missing term.
For example, 3, 7, 15, 31, 63, ?. Here the missing term is 127. The pattern between the numbers can be given by , where a represents the corresponding term in the sequence.
In order to solve some of the sequences you should have a learn how to solve sequences using the difference method. This will vastly speed up your time and accuracy.
There are 30 quizzes of increasing difficulty split into easy, medium and hard.
Each test consists of 26 questions. You have 30 minutes to complete each test and there is no negative marking.
The pass mark is 21/30.
